Summer Wedding Trends and Tones We’re Loving

Our team is conducting final detailing and putting the finishing touches on all of our summer design plans, and are getting SO excited for one incredible production season ahead! With so much variety and personality making it’s way into our wedding designs lately, we thought we’d pull together some of our most loved inspiration as of late – encompassing the trends, textures and tones that are more broadly gracing wedding blogs and publications everywhere! Because, why keep all of this juicy goodness to ourselves and our design boards alone, right?! (And heads up to our future brides, or any brides who resonate with this inspiration, really… be sure to get in touch – we are excited, ready and willing to bring any and all of of these gorgeous ideas to life!)

White Weddings that Wow

This palette will always stand the test of time, and for good reason! You truly can never go wrong with crisp, classic whites and greens. We also love the variety you can still achieve even when using this effortless palette – from dripping orchids overhead to dainty blooms dancing between candlelight, singular blooms to create a memorable aisle and natural blooming branches to decorate any doorway or arbor – we are always big, big fans of these timeless tones!

Earthy and Organic Elegance

A significant front-runner in the design realm these days is to opt for a neutral-yet-non-white palette – one which still allows the focal tones of the day to sing, yet expertly blends the overall design aesthetic into cohesion via a “muddied monochromatic” look. It is also, perhaps, one of our most favorite overall design vibe, too. After all – who doesn’t love some wild, earthy, “feels like it’s been growing here forever” goodness!? Sign us up!

Romantic Pastels & Pinks

Ethereal palettes and European romanticism is having a major moment right now, and we are positively smitten! After all, when you envision a day surrounded by pure love and romance, you’d expect the conjuring of soft colors, rich stone and dappled sunlight in at least a few of those images, right? Thankfully, a palette filled with romantic pastels and delicate pinks is going to be quite manageable (particularly for floral) no matter what the time of year, and it is easy to get inspired by even one marvelous bloom or rich texture and craft a full design right around it! From floral prints to appliques; envelope liners and sugar flowers… you officially heard it here! Those romantic details are here to stay!

Vibrant Tones & Statement-Makers

In case the post-pandemic world hasn’t made it glaringly obvious… color is officially BACK in wedding design, and we are HERE for it! After such a shaky last few years, so many of our clients have developed an appreciation for big, bold details that tell their story in a unique way, and much of that storytelling is being done in really original, beautiful ways. In years past, our brides tended to struggle with the inclusion of vibrant tones – thinking that bringing in a saturated pink, orange, red or green suddenly makes the entire wedding design suffer. Thankfully, the bolder, Tik-Tok educated brides of today (we kid but we love) have seen it done in really elegant, inspiring ways, and are helping us spread the word – vibrancy is not only manageable – it can be truly magical!
