Ten years. A full decade of dreaming, building, creating, and growing in ways we two sisters never could have imagined when this all began. What started as a passion—fueled by late nights, early mornings, and an unshakable belief in what we could bring to this industry—has flourished into something bigger than we ever expected. We’ve pushed boundaries, refined our craft, and had the immense privilege of designing and executing events that go beyond beautiful moments—they tell stories, create legacies, and bring people together in the most meaningful ways. Throughout it all, we’ve been so very thankful to have had the continued opportunity to do it all, together.
Through challenges and triumphs, evolving trends and timeless traditions, we have never stopped learning, stretching, and redefining what’s possible. This journey to ten has been filled with risk-taking, reinvention, and relentless dedication—not just to our couples and clients, but to the artistry, the experience, and the industry as a whole. And now, as we look back on ten years of unforgettable celebrations, relationships, and milestones, we can’t help but feel deeply grateful.
Here’s to every person who has trusted us, every moment we’ve been honored to bring to life, and every challenge that made us stronger. A decade in, and we’re just getting started.

2015-2016: The Beginning of a Dream
The journey began in a coffee shop—March 15, 2015, to be exact—when we launched our website at Colectivo Coffee on the Square before heading to our day jobs. Armed with passion and a vision (and honestly, not much else), we took on our first shoots and events, from Gibraltar Rock to Over the Vines, and worked with some of our first beloved couples. Clearly our “flatlays” had a long way to go from their humble beginnings on a Walgreens poster board. 🤣
With eight events in our debut year, we were off to a great start, and ended the year treating ourselves to an off-season retreat to reflect, which became an annual event after that! 2016 brought even more growth and learning: more styled shoots and vendor connections, our first-ever nonprofit gala, and the momentous addition of our dear Kelsie as an intern.
2017-2018: Gaining Momentum & Defining Our Style
By 2017, we were making waves around Madison, becoming a Wisconsin Bride Finalist and falling in love with tented receptions. We also officially embraced true branding (hello, cute new logo and matching aprons!) and worked on some truly unique and funky celebrations.
2018 was a year of big milestones: a beautiful brand shoot that started to feel a lot like US, our first Southern destination wedding in Charleston, and a growing reputation for executing seamless, high-end events. Our flatlay styling skills still… had some room to grow.
2019-2020: Scaling & Adapting in a Changing World
2019 saw 24 incredible events, marking our busiest season yet! We were expanding, refining, and truly hitting our stride. By the end of the year, we knew it was time for us to reconsider what our target audience was looking for and officially develop a fully fledged out brand, and by early 2020, we were ready to share it with the world! Truly, JUST before we were about to launch… we ran into the record scratch called COVID. Like the entire event industry, we thought we were finished; forced to pivot, adapt, and reimagine. Through a lot of adversity and uncertainty, we still found a way to launch our fresh new brand, pulled off 16 celebrations, embraced resilience (and our dear clients who stuck it out with us), and witnessed our team come together in ways we never imagined.
2021-2022: Innovation & Industry Impact
As weddings returned in full force, 2021 and 2022 became defining years for Elevate. We took on some of the most intimate, high-end, and logistically complex events of our careers—from luxury, multi-day celebrations to breathtaking design transformations. We also expanded our team and internal processes, ensuring efficiency without sacrificing creativity. Beyond planning, we stepped into education and other passion projects, launching The Prosperous Planner course and an elevated workwear clothing line with our friend Tori at LMC Boutique. As a cherry on top, we were honored with Best All Around Wedding Vendor (2021) and Best Wedding Planner (2022) from Wisconsin Bride Magazine, and traveled to some of our most memorable destination events to date.
2023-2024: Pushing Boundaries & Elevating Experiences
From executing a dream destination wedding in San Miguel de Allende to pulling off a tented reception for 500+ guests, these last couple of years have been full of breathtaking moments and groundbreaking challenges. We’ve strengthened industry relationships, expanded into corporate event planning, and continue to do our part to push the Midwest into the elite wedding mecca we know it can be! Personally, our team celebrated engagements, weddings, babies, and adventures across the world.
2025 & Beyond: The Future is Bright
As we step into the next chapter of our business, we’re energized by new challenges and projects, exciting upcoming collaborations, and the continued evolution of what it means to create and epitomize what it means to be extraordinary. From expanding our reach to challenging ourselves and growing our education efforts, we simply cannot wait for all that’s to come. To our clients, colleagues, and friends—thank you for being part of our story. Here’s to the next ten years and beyond!
