Jenni and Ashley’s downtown Madison wedding was filled with so much love, elegance, class and timeless beauty – truly a day we’ll remember for many years to come!
After hair and makeup over at Freebird Collective, the ladies shuttled back to the Mansion Hill Inn to get dressed and take some photos, while Ashley and his gents hung out over at the Madison Club Library. Both venues made for such picturesque and classic backdrops, perfect for this stylish wedding party. The morning was casual and easy-going, and the feeling of anticipation was circling as Ashley prepared for the first look with his beautiful bride, Jenni. The joy and love felt by these two and their families was so apparent throughout the entirety of the day and night. With family in town from the United Kingdom (some for the very first time!), Ashley approached every single minute and element of the day with so much meaning and intention – it was so heartwarming to witness.
As guests arrived to the Club, they were greeted with beautiful string music right in the lobby from a family friend, Beth Kiser, and a few of her colleagues. The quartet moved upstairs once guests were seated to play for the ceremony. Tears were shed, special music from family members was played, and heartfelt vows between the couple were shared in the Louise Marston Conklin room. We loved the inclusion of gold chiavari chairs from Chance Productions and the stunning aisle and fireplace mantle floral installations from the talented team at daffodil*parker.
The following reception was definitely one fine celebration! It was the perfect mix of speeches – both funny stories from the Best Man and Matron of Honor, and touching messages from both Jenni and Ashley’s fathers. There was not a dry eye in sight when we shared a surprise video that Jenni put together for Ashley from family members in the UK that could not be at the wedding in person to celebrate, and the dance floor was PACKED once Bluewater Kings Band got the party started. The day was a total blast and everyone was so happy to be together to celebrate the marriage of Jenni and Ashley.
