We had our initial client consultation with Sara and Nate over a pint at a local Irish pub. Before the meeting, we had a good understanding of a few of the key details, but were anxious to hear more about their larger plans for the wedding day. When Sara and Nate first entered the restaurant: her in her bright red lips and big smile, and he with his horn-rimmed glasses and cool demeanor, we knew right away that we had an instant connection and, quite frankly, a straight up crush on these two.
What we loved about Sara and Nate was how easy the flow of conversation was from the get-go, how clearly enamored the two were with each other, and how specific Sara’s vision was of their day. She described to us a desire to make their wedding whimsical and very French-inspired, with big white balloons, accordions, mobile champagne, and of course, macarons!
Sara and Nate epitomized the leisurely vibe of Madison’s East Side, and fittingly, also created a wedding to perfectly match their style. Their wedding took place along the shores of Lake Monona on a gorgeous sunny August Sunday, and their reception consisted of an easy-breezy luncheon at a local community center, complete with another French-inspired band. After seeing these photos, we’re sure you’ll agree… doesn’t an afternoon with these two, some champagne, accordions and delicious cake sound like the ideal way to spend a Sunday?
