A Cozy Clear Frame Backyard Wedding in New Glarus

Abby and Mark are two incredibly kind and thoughtful people, both with professions in the medical field. Because they spend so much of their time pouring such care and compassion into others, it was a true honor for us to create a wedding celebration that felt equally restful, personal, and full of joy; a day just for them. From the start, they envisioned a clear frame tent filled with all of their loved ones and favorite things, so we got right to work designing an intimate, cozy, fall-toned, flower-filled celebration in their very own backyard.

Their ceremony took place near the prairie on their property, overlooking the rolling hills of New Glarus. A stunning floral arch by Briar Loft framed the moment as they exchanged their vows, and even when a light autumn drizzle appeared, it honestly only added to the romance. Guests cozied up beneath clear umbrellas, creating a scene that felt both intimate and cinematic – sometimes the most beautiful moments are the unexpected ones!

The clear frame tent was expertly perched on the hill, offering sweeping views of the surrounding prairies and trees glowing with fall color. Dinner was served by Canteen – a deeply meaningful choice, as it was the very first restaurant Abby and Mark dined at after moving to the area. Thoughtful details like this were woven throughout the day, making the celebration feel entirely their own.

As the evening unfolded, it was time for dessert, dancing, and all of Abby and Mark’s favorite things. The couple met while working at a coffee shop in North Dakota during school, so a coffee cart and espresso martinis were an absolute must. Between warm drinks, great music, and a dance floor full of love, the night felt like the perfect reflection of who they are.
