A Timeless Tented Affair in Wisconsin’s Countryside

The day began with a heartfelt ceremony at a beautiful church in Plain, Wisconsin, a place already rich in family history where some of their loved ones had previously tied the knot. Amanda and Lucas chose to forego a traditional first look, instead sharing that intimate look the moment Amanda walked down the aisle. As the grand church doors opened and Amanda stepped into view, Lucas’ expression said it all—one of the most emotional moments of the day.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to Merrimac, where they were welcomed with cocktails and a delicious spread of Meister Cheese on the lawn in front of the most magnificent clear frame tent. Amanda’s vision of timeless elegance came to life under the summer sky with classic black-and-white details. Soft touches of yellow and blush flowers complemented by taupe accents made the scene feel both sophisticated and effortlessly summery. We incorporated linen textures on the tables, napkins, and paired them with whitewashed bentwood chairs and sleek acrylic accents for a modern, fresh aesthetic.

A fun and unique element Amanda and Lucas introduced to the day was a custom putting station, adding a playful, personal touch to cocktail hour. And when it was time to move inside the tent, the celebration continued on their customized stage with the Bluewater Kings Band energizing the crowd and keeping the dance floor packed well into the night. Another favorite moment was the cigar roller, who added a luxurious and relaxed vibe to the evening as guests danced, mingled, and celebrated in the Wisconsin countryside.
