If you had a chance to look at Part I of Caitlin and Ryan’s wedding weekend, you know that their rehearsal dinner set in the heart of Charleston was a stunning event on its own. We loved all of the simple and masculine details that added to “Ryan’s Night,” especially his amazing Yeti-shaped groom’s cake! (For more from that day, click here.)
Today, we are so excited to share images from the culmination of Caitlin and Ryan’s beautiful wedding weekend – scenes from their stunning, fashionable, and eclectic wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation!
Since Caitlin is a former wedding planner herself, it goes without saying that the details of their day were perfectly curated and planned out. From the custom denim jackets for her girls, to Ryan’s gorgeous blue suit made just for him, even their paper goods and accessories – everything contributed to making their day so very “them,” and also made for some pretty stylish getting ready photos!
Caitlin’s dress was also one-of-a-kind and perfectly suited to her. We loved the two piece gown made by Odylyne the Ceremony – Caitlin said she knew the minute she tried it on that it was the one! You’ll also note her dress change for the reception – now that Caitlin works as a consultant and lead stylist at one of Orlando’s top bridal boutiques, she has access to all of the new inventory out there, and actually found this dress only one week before the wedding at New York Bridal Fashion week!
Can we all take a minute to stop and appreciate this INSANE bridal bouquet?! We are forever obsessed, Frampton’s Flowers.
Ahhhhh, the first look – always our favorite part of a wedding day!
This wedding party was a little bit of everything, all rolled into one super fun group. They were helpful, respectful, classy, rowdy, charming and traditional, all in one. Truly the perfect group to stand behind C&R as they said “I do!”
If you know anything about us, you know that we are huge dog lovers, so finding out that Caitlin & Ryan wanted to include their dogs, Sully and Cowboy, in their ceremony was obviously A-okay with us! We loved that Charleston has a company that is strictly dedicated to picking up your dogs, walking them, AND taking care of them once they are on the grounds – Tie the Knot with Spot – you were so great! And aren’t Sully and Cowboy just the SWEETEST pair you’ve ever seen!?
Finally, let’s talk about the cherry on top of this already stunning day – the reception! Caitlin had a very specific vision – using cobalt blue and celadon green as her main colors paired with pops of bright pink, black and white, she aimed to create a funky and eclectic atmosphere under the clear-top tent. Using a combination of whitewashed farm tables, unique diamondback chairs and beautifully colored linens, Caitlin chose a layout meant for movement, and incorporated beautiful, soft drapery and TONS of pillows to keep the environment nice and cozy. We absolutely LOVED the use of monstera leaves, agate touches and funky geometric gold shapes to infuse some personality, too!
Caitlin and Ryan, THANK YOU, once again, for inviting us to participate in such a beautiful weekend and celebration of your love. It was gorgeous, incredibly personalized, and truly such a FUN experience! We love you, Mr. and Mrs. Roberts!
