Hannah had always dreamed of a winter wonderland wedding. Our initial meetings consisted of talking about deep burgundy hues mixed with winter whites and how to infuse Hannah’s favorite season into her wedding day. Plans included a hot chocolate bar, sugar frosted berries, and signature winter cocktails. Even though Covid had changed these early plans, Hannah & Hayden’s winter wedding day at The Ivy House was undoubtedly filled with so much warmth and love!
Grand winter wedding plans turned into an intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends. We still infused the season into their big day with an evergreen ceremony backdrop by Milwaukee Flower Co. The trees were perfectly lit with twinkling lights that highlighted Hannah and Hayden on stage. One plan that did not change was having their St. Bernard, Samwise, as their ring bearer. He owned the job with pride (while looking very dapper, we must say) as he carried the rings down the aisle in his floral adorned collar.
Hannah and Hayden were literally surrounded by their family and friends as they danced their first dance. It was so intimate and special. After cutting the cake and a couple heartwarming speeches, the crew enjoyed dinner at the rooftop of the Kimpton Hotel downtown Milwaukee.
