Just last week, we celebrated Elevate Events’ one-year anniversary. ONE YEAR! It’s absolutely incredible to think of how far we’ve come in just 365 days, and we’re thrilled to see how the next year shapes us even further. Because we have been simply swamped with work (a great problem to have!) we opted out of a big blowout bash and instead had a quiet little photoshoot at Mallory’s home with the lovely Stephen and Stephanie of Booth Photographics. (Thanks again for the new material, friends!)
To be 100% honest, when we started this little adventure called Elevate, we expected that we would pick up a few clients here and there, and slowly but surely begin to build up our business. What happened instead was a blessing greater than we could have ever even imagined – we have a completely booked 2016 schedule and loads of incredible weddings in store! We also were lucky enough to take on a first-of-its-kind photographers’ retreat AND non-profit gala function (happening in a few weeks!). BUT all of that wonderful work meant that things have started to get a bit stressful for us over here…
…which is why we have decided to take on an INTERN for the summer!!
Ladies and gents, meet Kelsie, Elevate Event’s summer intern and event associate. Originally from Rockford, Illinois, Kelsie is a Communications student from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a passion for planning events! She loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and trying new cuisines.
Kelsie is going to greatly improve our behind-the-scenes processes so we can bring YOU more exciting material and streamlined services. She will also be our event associate for a majority of the summer weddings we have planned, which means extra efficiency and teamwork!
