A Lakeside Fairytale Wedding in the Heart of Madison

From our very first meeting with Kiley and Zechariah, we knew their wedding day would be something truly special. Thoughtful, joyful, and deeply rooted in family, their celebration blended a Father-of-the-Bride–style classic charm with a soft, fairytale palette of blues and pinks. It was the perfect reflection of who they are: warm, intentional, and wonderfully in love.

Their weekend began with excitement and heartfelt anticipation from both families. With Grace Episcopal Church holding so much meaning for the couple, it felt especially moving to watch Zechariah’s father step forward to officiate their ceremony. Guests gathered beneath the church’s soaring architecture as Kiley and Zechariah exchanged vows surrounded by the people who have shaped their story.

From there, everyone made their way to The Edgewater for an evening celebration overlooking stunning Lake Mendota – nods to which we absolutely had to include! The ballroom was transformed into a romantic scene filled with whimsical color, layered textures, and floral moments that brought our “lakeside fairytale” vision to life. One of our team’s favorite memories was revealing the reception space to Kiley and her mom – an emotional, joy-filled moment we won’t soon forget.

Throughout the day, Kiley and Zech’s calm presence and graciousness set the tone. They were both fully present – savoring every moment, Kiley laughing with her bridesmaids, and soaking up time with all of their favorite people. In true Kiley fashion, she incorporated meaningful touches throughout the day, including gifting each of her bridesmaids a unique pair of earrings sourced from small businesses she loves. Those heartfelt details added an extra layer of intention to an already beautiful celebration.

As the evening unfolded, guests enjoyed dinner, toasts, and a lively dance floor with the lake glittering just beyond the windows. It was the kind of night that felt both timeless and spirited, a perfect reflection of the couple at the center of it. Kiley & Zechariah, thank you for inviting us into such a meaningful chapter of your lives. Your wedding was a joy to plan, a joy to witness, and a joy to celebrate.
