Reynolds and John chose the picturesque Destination Kohler as the perfect setting for their wedding weekend, envisioning an immersive experience for their guests. With a desire to showcase Wisconsin’s breathtaking green landscapes, Reynolds came to us with a clear vision—and we were excited to make it a reality!
Working with a bride like Reynolds, who is passionate about every design detail, was an absolute joy. She wanted to incorporate playful patterns not only in the reception design but also in the attire for the weekend. From selecting fabrics for the tablecloths and napkins to designing stationery and signage, every conversation was filled with creative energy. Reynolds’ impeccable style made the process all the more enjoyable as we explored options for floral arrangements, outfit accessories, and more.
What truly set this experience apart was the focus on creating a weekend that went beyond just the wedding day. Reynolds and John wanted their guests to be fully immersed in the beauty and charm of Wisconsin from the moment they arrived. The weekend began with a stylish round of golf—because what better way to start in Kohler’s renowned golf country? This was followed by an intimate dinner at the cozy, rustic River Wildlife log cabin. The next day offered a blend of activities, including more golf, spa treatments, yoga, and a prairie-chic rehearsal dinner and welcome party.
The wedding day was nothing short of exhilarating, keeping all of us on our toes. With an outdoor celebration in mind, we anxiously watched as rain fell steadily throughout the morning and early afternoon. But as if by magic, just moments before the ceremony at Riverbend, the clouds parted, and the sun emerged, casting a golden glow over the ceremony set up. It was a serendipitous moment that set the tone for the rest of the evening!
As the festivities transitioned into the night, guests were whisked away to Whistling Straits, where the reception unfolded beneath a stunning clear-top canopy. Twinkling lights sparkled overhead, while gorgeous floral arrangements filled every corner, creating a dreamy, romantic atmosphere. The night was brought to life by the incredible sounds of the Standing Room Only Orchestra, who kept the energy high and the dance floor packed.
Throughout it all, our focus remained on bringing Reynolds and John’s “garden party meets hint of coastal” vision to life. Every detail, from the decor to the ambiance, reflected their unique style and the deep love they share. It was a weekend full of unforgettable moments, a true celebration of their beautiful journey together.
Best wishes to you, Reynolds & John! We feel so lucky and honored to have worked with you both and your wonderful families, and we will cherish the memories of this magical weekend for years to come. Cheers to you both!
