Meghan & Matt are two people as classic and timeless as they come, and their Michigan Manor Wedding Day was a perfect reflection of exactly that! So much of this gorgeous weekend was about celebrating Meghan & Matthew’s hospitality and love for others (especially their guests who came from near and far to celebrate!), so no detail was spared to ensure everyone felt the love.
Starting with a refined-casual Welcome Event, we kicked the weekend off right by incorporating some of Meghan and Matt’s favorites: tacos, tequila, and hot sauce! Though rain plagued much of our setup and forced a bit of a planning pivot that evening, the following day was truly one of THE most idyllic spring days – a bride (and planner’s) absolute dream wedding day!
Meghan and her best ladies spent the morning being pampered on the stunning Greencrest grounds. Shortly after hair and makeup was completed, Meghan was able to get into her beautiful gown, share a touching first look with each of her parents, then board the trolley to be whisked to her new husband at the historical St. Philip’s Catholic Church.
Throughout the entire planning process, we focused on various ways to infuse their elegant yet relaxed style into each and every element of the weekend and event design. From the custom letterpress invitations and golf-inspired vintage stamps (Matt’s second love!), to the stunning ceremony programs (complete with a hand-drawn image of the church where they wed), even down to Meghan and Matt’s childhood-inspired appetizers served at cocktail hour, we found ways to incorporate M&M into every aspect of their wedding day, and really ensure that the love was felt in every moment and detail!
