Kelly & Brett's Vibrant Summer Wedding (and Silent Disco!)

There is absolutely nothing like a vibrant summer wedding on a perfect Midwestern night; where the breeze is blowing through and the air is warm enough for everyone to get down on the dance floor all night long. Add in some colorful headphones and a silent disco to the mix, and you have one incredible guest experience!

Kelly and Brett came to us from Chicago, though Kelly and her family are Wisconsin natives. Kelly’s father is one of nine who grew up on a farm, so the elegant barn and breathtaking, old-growth ceremony space with towering shade trees at the Fields Reserve were the perfect nod to the rustic farm tradition. Brett and his beautiful family and group of groomsmen brought a modern, Chicago twist to the celebration. Together these elements brought Kelly & Brett’s Vibrant Summer Wedding day to life.

Brett and Kelly were so laid back throughout the entire process. Planning for them was a total dream, allowing our team to be creative and execute their day with ease. Kelly’s vision of vibrant yet elegant floral was brought to life by a dear friend, Bumble Fleur, who pulled in all the fun late summer colors and blooms with orange garden roses, unique greenery and other fun, in-season picks.

After a beautiful ceremony in the forest grove, cocktail hour began with a grazing spread and signature cocktails from Blue Plate Catering. Dinner was followed by heartfelt speeches and great tunes spun by Tristan at Celebrations Entertainment. Guests were met with a great surprise when the dancing migrated outdoors for a silent disco with headphones for each guest that played the DJ’s tracks. Everyone danced and sang the beautiful summer night away with glow sticks and a late night food appearance from Portillos to cap off the night.
