Tess & Dave dreamed of a wedding focused around natural earthy hues in a cozy yet fresh environment. The Landing 1841 was the perfect backdrop to complement the warm hues they envisioned. While terra cotta was a main element in their design, hints of golden yellows and deep greens were also seen throughout the decor, especially in the beautiful floral elements by Briar Loft. They created a perfectly balanced combination of romance and modern. The soft fluffy blooms paired with the more clean lined stationery gave Tess & Dave that fresh but classic vibe they were going for.
Upon arrival, guests were led to the back lawn along the river for a beautiful ceremony, followed by cocktail hour and live music on the patio under the sunshine. A family style dinner was served to create a comfortable atmosphere much like that of a dinner party. A mix of tall and short centerpieces gave the room just the right amount of balance visually, while the blooms themselves popped against the neutral table linens. With live music in the background, guests danced the night away while sipping on Dave’s personal old fashioned recipe!
The love surrounding Tess & Dave on their wedding day could not be overlooked. Their family and friends emitted nothing but love and admiration for the couple. We are blessed to have been a part of their experience!
