Sue & Oliver | Turner Hall Wedding

Sue and Oliver are the type of couple that you meet, immediately vibe with, and just KNOW their wedding is going to be a ton of fun! These two love music, so what better way to weave that into their story than by getting married at Turner Hall Ballroom, a performing arts theater in downtown Milwaukee! The duo actually went to a concert at their venue just days before they said “I do” – a fun pre-wedding treat!

Sue and Oliver were intentional in picking their vendor team – a group of people who would bring light and joy to their day. Anda Marie captured the spark between the couple so beautifully, especially during their intimate first look where you can see how captivated Oliver was by Sue! Flowers for Dreams adorned the ballroom with beautiful greenery and a standout bouquet for our bride. Tall Guy and a Grill brought the good eats while Funktastic kept everyone on the dance floor all night long.

The bridal party radiated happiness with smiles that never left their faces. This group had a ton of fun and knew how to party! With the gents in navy and the gals in a soft dusty rose, they brought together the moody tones effortlessly. Candles and greenery adorned the space to make it the cozy ceremony Oliver and Sue envisioned.

The bride and groom wanted to create a welcoming atmosphere by flipping the ceremony into a reception lined with long tables giving guests a chance to mingle. Sue and Oliver’s guest book was the classic, “The Missing Piece meets the Big O” by Shel Silverstein – an ode to how Sue met her “Big O”! Another personal touch that is a must for any music-loving couples? Sue and Oliver had table numbers created, each one varying from the next to depict a song memorable to their relationship. Lastly, Sue’s sisters and matrons of honor had a speech that no one could, or will, forget. It was a love letter to Sue as a child detailing how her future would look when she found the love of her life, Oliver.

Oliver and Sue, it was such a blast helping you plan your special day! I wish you a marriage filled with love, hope, and music that fills your souls!

XO,

Kelsie
