Anna and Nick’s joyful, gardeny wedding was filled with tradition, laughter, crafty cocktails, and a resounding rendition of the Hora. The couple currently resides in New York but headed back to the Midwest for a gorgeous wedding out in Wisconsin’s beautiful countryside.
Anna’s style is chic and classic. Her gorgeous white Reem Acra ball gown complemented with a pair of Manolo Blahnik pumps and Chanel perfume definitely served as key inspiration for the decor of the day. Adorned with lush florals from daffodil*parker and nods to their family sprinkled throughout, this day had Nick and Anna written all over it.
After first chatting with the bride and groom, I learned they wanted to add personal touches throughout the day to celebrate the coming together of their families. Anna discussed a beautiful white heirloom basket her family has used as a decorative piece for generations of weddings and how it simply must be incorporated somehow! Their signature cocktails consisted of Rosé and Miller Lite – a nod to both of Anna and Nick’s middle names, as well as an Aperol Spritz and Old Fashioned – each of their parents’ favorite drinks. The most adorable flower girl, Mercer Rose, led our beautiful bride down the aisle shortly after her uncle Nick walked down to an instrumental version of the theme song from his favorite movie, Jurassic Park, played by Intermezzo Quartet. To top it off, each of their bridal party members partook in sentimental readings during the ceremony, just before Nick smashed the glass officially pronouncing them as husband and wife. The celebration continued with drinks on the patio of Sugarland’s gorgeous landscape. Finally, the reception merriment took an exciting turn with sounds of the Hora filling the rafters, and the dancing and fun lasted all through the night!
A & N, it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of your special day. We’d relive this day 1,000 times over. Happy Anniversary!
