Meghan and J.J. were the kinds of clients that truly just made us smile from the beginning of their wedding planning process straight through to the end.
The amount of times we were told “we trust you” and “whatever you think” were unparalleled and, quite frankly, made the entire process so stress-free that, when we look back at these images, we sigh with the thought of how lovely these two were throughout the entire planning process, and how beautifully a day can unfold when everyone is given the freedom to plan (and execute) everything they hoped to achieve. Thanks, M & J, for your trust and assurance from beginning to end!
Anyway, planning pleasures aside, looking back on this day brings so much joy, smiles and LOVE to the forefront, because these two KNEW their priorities and made them known from the get-go. Meghan’s vision of a classic late-summer/early fall wedding came together beautifully (thanks to some incredibly talented vendors!), and perfectly reflected the timelessness of the iconic Pritzlaff building and the blending of the seasons. J.J wanted to include a classic nod to his groomsmen, but really only cared about the fact that he was marrying the love of his life (and goodness, we think it’s pretty clear how GIDDY this man was to marry his wife that day!)
Paired with the stunning floral work by Feisty Flowers, the expert eye of Alex Good and the perfectly coordinated burgundy and navy outfits against the architecture of the Marquette campus, it’s easy to see how effortlessly this beautiful day came together. (Seriously, we may have commented about 3,468 times on how idyllic the weather was that day – Wisconsin weather makes us wedding folks gripe a lot of the time, but this day was absolute PERFECTION in the wedding world!)
Frankly, we think these photos speak for themselves – Meghan and J.J.’s celebration was filled with comfort, family, warm thoughts and so, SO much love – everything a wedding day should be.
