Goodness – these two. Such a classic, caring pair. And their gorgeous summer wedding day was just the icing on the proverbial cake to top off their beautiful love story.
Sarah is a dear friend of Kirstie’s, so as soon as she and Steve got engaged and began planning for the big day, we were involved twofold: Kirstie as a bridesmaid, and Mallory as lead planner. It was a no-brainer, and we were honored to have played a part, in BOTH capacities. 🙂
Sarah and Steve are the definition of classy, caring, easy-going, and SO deeply in love. Their love story began at work, actually, when Steve spotted Sarah at a meeting, and immediately he knew he had to know more about her. The rest, as they say, is history! Sarah, a former pageant contestant and participant in Miss Wisconsin, had obviously dreamed of her fairytale day since she was a little girl, and clearly, the gown was a HUGE element of the day. To add to the magic in choosing her wedding gown, Sarah actually had the real-life opportunity to say YES TO THE DRESS at Kleinfeld Bridal! We think it’s safe to say she absolutely nailed it with her stunning Hailey Paige selection (along with those sexy Jimmy Choos), wouldn’t you??
Pair Sarah and Steve’s effortless style with the stunning architecture of the Milwaukee Art Museum, and you already have yourself the makings for a drop-dead gorgeous day. Add in the subtle pops of pink, an elegant wedding party and classic decor, and it’s easy to see how effortlessly this day came together.
Congratulations on one year, Sarah and Steve, and thank you so much for asking BOTH of us to play such important roles in your big day!
