When it comes to booking our clients, there really is no magical formula when it comes to finding the right fit. Obviously, our goal is for our brides and grooms to feel comfortable with us and love our skills and our product, but it’s truly an extra special fit when WE feel just as comfortable with our clients.
Ashton walked into our initial meeting BEAMING with excitement, and by the time she left, we felt like old friends who were honestly just as excited about her wedding as her sister and bridesmaids. Seriously, if we handed out year-end awards to our brides, Ashton would win “most excited bride” HANDS. DOWN. To add icing to the cake, Ashton and Josh are high school sweethearts who are seriously adorable together, AND… her sister’s name is Mallory too!
Putting together Ashton and Josh’s wedding was a really exciting endeavor for us. It was our very first wedding at the Lageret, a gorgeous new warehouse venue in Stoughton, and Ashton’s neutral color palette and vision meant that we had a lot of room to be creative!
Plus, her wedding was very do-it-yourself but done in a really meaningful way: her Dad built the officiant’s podium and ALL of the crates for the design and the centerpieces, Ashton and her family handmade their jam and syrup wedding favors and signs, AND she even picked out and ordered her table runner fabrics herself! Add in some lovely floral centerpieces designed by yours truly, and we think this made for a pretty simple yet stunning design!
